Malaria is a disease of the blood that is transmitted by an infected mosquito. Yet, Malaria is preventable!

​

Using mosquito nets when sleeping prevents the transmission of the disease up to 90%.

​

And because one child dies every two minutes due to Malaria, these nets were very much needed!

​

Our goal was to provide all the children at the Children’s Home in Kitengela, Kenya with a mosquito net and together we did it! The nets have been purchased and the kids will receive them in June!
